He played a key role in the development of the methodology employed by an employee stock option valuation firm sold to Merrill Lynch. Additionally, he has experience with a Big 4 accounting firm (Pricewaterhouse Coopers) where he was responsible for developing and auditing the methodology employed under FAS 123r. He has provided equity and firm valuation services for over 150 Fortune 100 and 500 clients and several of the largest private equity and venture capital funds in the world. He currently sits on the advisory board of the Certified Equity Professional Institute at Santa Clara University, as well a global stock plan administration firm (Global Shares). He has been a speaker at NASPP, NCEO and GEO, as well as Private Equity and CFO conferences across the country targeted at the specific issues facing venture equity firms as it relates to IRS 409a and FAS 123r. He was trained in the Arizona State University economics and statistics graduate school programs. Mussie Teclezion - Partner Mussie heads our earnings management and valuation solution team. He is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in the valuation of complex assets and liabilities for some of the largest firms in the world. He was trained in the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University accounting and finance graduate school programs (MBA and Ph.D.), in addition to holding a Certified Public Accountant credential.
